Donald M. Truxillo is Professor at the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Portland State University. He is an Associate Editor at Work, Aging and Retirement and guest editor for the Special Issue of Personnel Psychology on Aging and Work. He is a recipient of SIOP’s Distinguished Teaching Contributions Award (2017). His research focuses on the aging workforce, the applicant experience, and worker safety and health. He is a fellow of SIOP, APA, APS, and IAAP. Talya N. Bauer is Cameron Professor of Management and Affiliated Professor of Psychology at Portland State University. She is an Associate Editor for Journal of Applied Psychology. Her research focuses on recruitment, new employee onboarding, applicant reactions, and leadership. She received SIOP’s Distinguished Teaching Contributions Award in 2012. She is a former President of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and is a fellow of SIOP, APA, APS, and IAAP. Berrin Erdogan is Express Employment Professionals Professor of Management and Affiliated Professor of Psychology at Portland State University. She is also a Distinguished Research Professor at the University of Exeter. She is Editor-in-Chief of Personnel Psychology. Her research focuses on leadership, underemployment, and new employee socialization. She is a fellow of SIOP and APS.
