Darren J. Berger, DVM, DAVCD, is an Assistant Professor of dermatology at Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. His research interests include clinical pharmacology, Malassezia dermatitis, and equine hypersensitivity disorders.
The second edition of Moriello's Small Animal Dermatology Volume 1: Fundamental Cases and Concepts--Self-Assessment Color Review is an excellent resource for general practitioners. A particular strength of this book is the presentation of a case-based history followed by photographs that depict clinical findings and the various diagnostic testing methods used to reach the diagnosis... The format and reasonable cost of this book make it an excellent resource for veterinary students, interns, residents, and any practitioner who is interested in continuing education related to small animal dermatology. It will be an excellent addition to the reference library of any small animal general practitioner.
