Diane Lee LaDouceur has worked as a corporate marketing manager. Her life took a different path when her premature daughter Alison was born and suffered from a blood bleed on her brain and seizures, leading to years of learning challenges. A passionate advocate for children with disabilities, rescue animals, and young adult education, Diane has founded several organizations that support and champion these causes. Helle Urban has been an artist and illustrator for forty-plus years, both working in the animation industry and in fine art through illustration. She earned her bachelor of fine arts degree from Art Center College of Design and has received numerous children's book awards for her illustration work in over twelve books.
