Educate and Empower Kids
10 January 2019
With cellphones and similar devices everywhere, we are all engaged in one of the most incredible social experiments ever conceived in the history of mankind. Within this alarming experiment, our kids are becoming entrenched in an increasingly pornified culture. Pornography use among kids is now a major public health issue due to its far-reaching effects.

Because exposure to pornography is inevitable, it is necessary to prepare our kids for that exposure. Porn's addictive nature, the way it can alter a child's developing brain, and how it will affect all of their future relationships make these discussions vital to a child's healthy sexual development. Our kids must be warned of its dangers as well as educated about the hateful nature of pornography, where women are usually the targets or victims of objectification, violence, degradation, and humiliation.

We have provided critical information and great discussion questions that will foster productive and meaningful conversations between you and your kids. Look at these discussions as an opportunity to connect. As you become more comfortable and gain confidence in discussing these tough topics, your kids will be able to ask you deeper questions and share more personal thoughts and experiences with you. You will find that if you can discuss the dangers of online pornography and the related topics in this book, you can talk with your kids about ANYTHING!

Reviews for How to Talk to Your Kids About Pornography

This book will help prepare your kids to live free from one of the most destructive forces today - pornography. Each key point helps you talk about an aspect of this issue, with the important info and some discussion questions on 2 short pages. It's an efficient, credible way to do something that will have a big impact on your kids. --Vauna Davis, Executive Director of the Utah Coalition Against Pornography No parent can CHILD-PROOF the world. A parent's job is to WORLD-PROOF the child. --Doug Flanders, MD (LOVE this quote at the beginning of the book!). I purchased this book to help me prepare a lesson I was teaching to a group of teenagers about the dangers of pornography. I chose this particular book to help me understand why children can be attracted and become addicted to pornography as I feel that teaching the why about any given subject can be almost as powerful as teaching DO's and DON'Ts. Chapters 7 (Curiosity Is Normal), 9 (Pornography Is Addictive), and 10 (Pornography Conditions the Brain) were especially helpful. This book is an easy read, and was filled with ideas and resources to help prepare our children for inevitable exposure to pornography. I wish I had this book when I was raising my children! --Cheryl, Amazon Customer his book has a lot of great information!!! It includes everything from how to talk to your young children all the way to more serious discussions with teenagers. I feel better prepared to talk to my children about the dangers of pornography in their lives and I also understand what pornography is after spending time reading this book!! Thanks for having this available to parents! Daria Peterson, Amazon Customer
