Małgorzata Grajter graduated from the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University, Łódź in two fields: music theory and piano performance. In 2014, she defended her doctoral thesis on verbal and musical relationships in the works of Ludwig van Beethoven, later published by The Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Łódź, 2015 (Polish), and Peter Lang, 2019 (German). Recently, she has been teaching at her Alma Mater and cooperating with the Faculty of Philology of the University of Łódź as a member of a research team working on the topic of intertextuality in music videos. She took an active part in many international seminars, conferences, symposia and musicological congresses, including the International Congress on Musical Signification and World Congress of Semiotics. She is also a member of the international association of musicologists from Central and Eastern Europe based at the University of Leipzig.
