Sylvia Ashton is an independent education consultant.  Sylvia previously taught on the PgCert in Learning and Teaching in HE at Sheffield Hallam University. She has dedicated herself to supporting the professional development of hundreds of lecturers using imaginative and innovative approaches.  Rachel Stone is Senior Lecturer in education at Sheffield Hallam University.  Rachel is module leader on the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in HE programme. She works with staff across the university on enhancing the quality of their teaching and learning, several of whom have gone on to be nominated as inspirational teachers by their students. Rachel also teaches on a Foundation Award and BA Hons in Education and Learning Support, working with Teaching Assistants from a range of educational settings.
