Greg Waldron • 1966 - 2024

On 26 November 2024, Abbey's lost a staff member to illness who has played a long and significant role in our business. We join Greg's wife Jen and their son Dylan, their family and friends, publisher sales representatives, other booksellers and our customers in remembering Greg in our shared loss.

Greg joined us in 2007, having already established a reputation as a very good bookseller at Angus & Robertson. He went on to become a senior bookseller and one of Abbey's two principal book buyers, working alongside Lindy Jones in curating the extensive range of books for which Abbey's is renowned.

Over the 17 years that Greg was with us, he brought a vast knowledge and a keen sense of humour into our days at Abbey's. Music, movies and, of course, books were his passions in abundance. He is sorely missed.
