Described as a 'force of nature' and 'a role model to women everywhere', Professor Joyce Harper is a global leader in fertility education. She has worked in the fertility field for 33 years and is Professor of Reproductive Science at University College London, in the Institute for Women's Health. She has a number of key roles in the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, in addition to running a monthly women's group called the Purple Tent and being an ambassador for UK Lottery-funded This Girl Can. Joyce has written more than 200 scientific papers and published two textbooks, in addition to writing on FemTech, social egg freezing, and new technology for fertility. Joyce has 3 children, all born as a result of fertility treatment, including twins after frozen embryo transfer. She openly shares her fertility journey and wants to help people achieve the family they want.
Professor Harper is a shining light in a murky fertility landscape. Her [scientific] knowledge makes her best placed to offer clarity for any woman struggling with the hormonal balance that we all endure. Had this book been available to me in my 30s I would have lapped it up. * Hannah Vaughan-Jones, CNN newsreader * If you want to know anything about female fertility and women's health, just ask Joyce Harper!
