"What newcomer students are saying about Welcome! The Friends' Guide to New School Success: I wish I had this book when I was a newcomer because it would have helped me so much, especially with navigating the school. -Ahmad I really liked the messages from students because they show the newcomer students that they are not alone. -Daria You should call it ""The ultimate guide for newcomers starting school"" and give every newcomer a copy. I wish someone had given this book to me. -Mohammad I wished I had this book when I was a newcomer because I didn't know what people were talking about and worried, ""what if I do something wrong?"" It was question after question which I couldn't even answer myself. I think that newcomers have to read this book to get tips from the people who have many experiences and it could help you get out of that dark place or whatever you want to call it. Once you understand, that's when a new journey begins! -Mokhtar I wish I had this book when I was a newcomer starting school--it would have really helped me.-Amina My favorite parts are the messages from students! It almost felt like a friend sitting next to me and giving advice. -Hilda"
