He started to play Violin in age 10 and and graduated with ""Kamancheh"" (Bowed string instrument / the Middle East spiked fiddle) from the Tehran Conservatory of Music and is Bachelor of Music from University of Art in Tehran and studied under various teachers such as M.K. Pourtorab, H. Montazeri, H. Arazm, V. Sahakian ... ect. Iranian Musician/Composer Sina Alam (born December 1989 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian Kamancheh, Ghichak and Violin player, teacher and composer. He is the main member ofShoosh ensemble under the direction of Hooman Khalatbari. He has also been active in Shahram Nazeri and Zand ensembles."
