A variety of symptoms may be brought on by structural, biochemical, or electrical anomalies in the brain, spinal cord, or other nerves. Among the most prevalent are neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and other dementias, strokes, migraines, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, polyneuropathies, neurological infections, brain tumours, and conditions resulting from nervous system trauma like head injuries.
