Miles Kendall grew up sailing on the Helford River, with family holidays cruising the Brittany coast on a 27-foot yacht. As deputy editor of Yachting Monthly he survived gales off the Cape of Good Hope, raced from Hong Kong to the Philippines and cruised everywhere from Finland to Thailand. He now lives near Lymington and gets out on the water whenever he can.
“A good armchair read or an information source for that next trip.” (Royal Cornwall Yacht Club) “Some yachtsmen will be motivated to action by the book, others will ponder the craziness of fellow human beings. It’s certainly a fun read.” (Yachting Monthly)
