Reviews for Ultimate Life Skills For Epic Tweens: A Fun To Read Guide On Building Social, Mental, Financial, School And Home Skills To Empower Preteens And Give Them A Head Start In Life

Great for Tweens or parents or perhaps both!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It may seem difficult to decide if this book is geared for tweens or parents. I love the way the book is structured so that both can benefit. There are practical exercises and activities that teens can do with their parents. What I especially love about this book was the chapter that includes cooking together. I find that cooking together as a family and having family dinners together with some of the recipes made by the kids are the greatest way to connect. Cooking teaches math skills, trial and error, troubleshooting and it allows for amazing family time. There are so many other things that I wish schools would focus on when parents fall short such as teaching financial literacy, how to change a tire, how to have good hygiene and so much more. I really think that this book can be a real game changer! -Jonathan L Take charge of your life⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you have a swing this is a fun book to give them practical and handy tips to help empower themselves. As a bonus if you follow a link you can download the workbook you can use with the book for free. The illustrations look very cute and friendly. I gave this book to my nephew and it has helped us talk about some of the sensitive topics he has been facing and gives him how he can deal with them. They cover self-confidence, how to make friends and be a friend, how to set your own goals and accomplish them, how to be resilient, how to make good decisions, having a healthy lifestyle, cooking, cleaning, money and budgeting, how to handle emergencies and maintaining your personal stuff like scooters or bikes. -A D Excellent How-to-handle-life Resource for Tweens⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a well-written, well-researched, entertaining, and adorably illustrated resource for tweens. I most appreciated the seven crucial steps to make good decisions, key strategies for setting goals, and how to transform negative beliefs about yourself into positive beliefs. But there is so much more: handling emergencies, money/budgeting, cooking/cleaning, having a growth mindset, and incorporating a healthy lifestyle. This book is a must-read and a keeper. -Angela
