Under the floorboards of a big bears house live three little mice. Every evening, on his return from working outside all day, the big bear sits down to enjoy a big dinner. At night, the three little mice sneak out from their hole to eat the leftovers. One night, there is no food and the starving mice decide to drink lamp oil. They knock over the lamp and cause a fire that burns down the house. Realizing what theyve done, the three little mice help the bear build a new house. In the new house, the mice live upstairs while the bear lives downstairs and the animals become good neighbors.
