"This book contains a select group of middleweight power punchers from around the world.

The list starts with Bob Fitzsimmons, an 1890's British born middleweight champion who won the heavyweight title from Jim Corbett in 1897.

Stanley Ketchel was the next great power puncher who met a tragic death in 1910.

The 1940s brought us the colorful champion Rocky Graziano, and the 1950s gave us the Argentine powerhouse Eduardo Lausse.

The big puncher in the 1960s was Cuba's Florentino Fernandez.

The 1970's middleweight power punchers included Philadelphia's Bennie Briscoe and Eugene ""Cyclone"" Hart.

The 1980's big punchers were champions Thomas Hearns, Marvin Hagler, and Julian Jackson of the Virgin Islands.

The 1990's power punchers were Gerald McClellan and England's Nigel Benn.

The latest great power puncher was Kazakhstan's Gennady (GGG) Golovkin."
