‘This utterly compelling book has such a haunting, gothic atmosphere. I felt bewitched by it long after I'd finished reading.’ Lorna Peplow, CBC alumni ‘The Woman In The Waves is that rare combination of lyrical prose with propulsive plot. This haunting novel is full of stunning prose, evocative of dark and disturbing shadows in a vividly written landscape.’ Rebecca Lewis-Smith, CBC alumni ‘Booker is a master of gothic noir.
