He died in 1946. Craig Mathews is author of Western Fly-Fishing Strategies and the proprietor of Blue Ribbon Flies in West Yellowstone, Montana. Robert H. Berls is the editor of the Anglers' Club Bulletin. Dan Callaghan, a retired lawyer, provided the photographs for Fishing Yellowstone Waters and other books.
