A long-time resident of Redmond, Washington, Deborah Voll is the mother of two independent adult children. Opening her own home to home-sharing guests has changed her life for the better as she has befriended guests from around the world and grown through the many adventures that arise. Her vast experiences with guests of all kinds during her many years as an Airbnb Superhost offer readers a wealth of knowledge about hosting on the Airbnb platform and successfully launching their own hosting business. The Tell-All Guide to Airbnb Hosting is her first nonfiction book. Deborah's primary day job navigates the world of manufacturing as she provides products and services to other manufacturing companies. These skills have helped her focus on guest satisfaction and the profitability of her venture with Airbnb. In 2019, Deborah launched her life coaching business along with a weekly podcast called Calm the Chaos. Her coaching business fulfills her passion of caring for others as she helps empower women in midlife to find their own passion and purpose. When Deborah is not flipping rooms for guests or improving the lives of her coaching clients, you can find her updating her garden, staying active with friends, baking delicious treats for family and friends, or exploring a new city as an Airbnb guest herself. """The Tell-All Guide to Airbnb Hosting is very insightful. We have stayed in over 260 Airbnbs around the world, and now we know just what Superhosts go through to make our stays so memorable. Deborah Voll really does ""tell it all"" and shares delightful details, tips, tricks, and tales of hosting that will benefit anyone considering turning that spare room into a rental."" -Debbie & Michael Campbell, The Senior Nomads, Authors of Your Keys, Our Home ""This book is a ""must read"" if you are considering hosting an Airbnb space in your home, or want to become a 5-star Superhost. Ms. Voll demystifies the hosting experience and offers useful tips and laugh-out-loud stories."" -D.L. Carlisle, Airbnb Guest and Host ""I wish I'd had this book when I was starting out as an Airbnb host. Deborah Voll nails it with her entertaining stories and sharing what worked for her in many different situations. It will satisfy your 'what about this?' questions. A great guide to embarking on a home sharing or stand alone nightly rental service, Deborah provides a comprehensive getting started checklist. The Tell-All Guide to Airbnb Hosting covers it all in a fun, engaging way. I read the whole book in one sitting. It made me want to stay at Deborah's Airbnb home! This will be the only guide you'll need."" -Trish Sullivan, Airbnb Host ""The Airbnb journey is not just for hosts, but guests as well. Deborah Voll's guide pulls back the curtain to reveal behind-the-scenes action. It is revealing and sometimes humorous (when it doesn't happen to you). As an Airbnb traveler, I found the insights entertaining from a different perspective."" -Bill Koehne, Airbnb guest, Author, and Website Builder, Packerland Websites ""Ms. Voll's storytelling on being an Airbnb Superhost is spot on. Not only does this pithy volume relate the frustrations, annoyances, and-at times-horrors of hosting strangers in your home, it includes the delights of welcoming, getting to know, and-in some cases-becoming good friends with people from all over the world. Her insightful key points provide tips for would-be hosts as well as questions to consider before taking the plunge. A must read for anyone thinking about becoming a host."" -S. A. Snyder, Airbnb Superhost and Author of Plant Trees, Carry Sheep: A Woman's Spiritual Journey Among the Sufis of Scotland ""Deborah Voll's book is very well written and has great tips for guests and hosts alike!"" -Gwen Satterfield, Middle School Math Teacher, FLVS, and Airbnb frequent guest ""Author Deborah Voll offers a masterclass on how to be an Airbnb host (and guest). This book is not only helpful to the wanna be host, but would also be valuable to those who are already hosting and seek to improve their guests' experiences. As someone who always stays in hotels, this book has piqued my curiosity about the Airbnb experience. Voll not only discusses such mundane things as keeping a plunger handy in guest bathrooms, providing a supply of half-n-half for coffee in the fridge, but also the likelihood that the host and guest will develop a friendship. Voll's personal stories make this an enjoyable read."" -Katharine M. Nohr, Host of ""The Wide World of Esports"" on ThinkTech Hawaii"
