The Saga Concludes!(Part II: Belly of the Beast) The Red Queen has amassed the largest army since the rule of Kaleeshni, all of its military might bent on vengeance. A dark sorcerer poses as Dune Halzibar, spreading his empire across the void. Beyond the Weeping Sea, goblins fight for stake of a new planet colonized by mages. Thuzans pay tribute to a fallen monk, and with them come gospels of violence.

Turmoil disrupts the Murai as the ronin urges for unity, and the Queen of Tuegal plays a deadly game with allies and enemies. Mercenaries strike in the night as war dissolves ancient boarders, an alchemist brews his masterpiece, and the Second Ridding begins.

Reviews for The Second Ridding: Book 4 / Part II: Belly of the Beast

Space wizards and fantasy adventures!Space wizards ! Asteroid goblin pirates ! Ancient battles! The descriptions, dialogue, and characters are hearty ..like a good homemade meal that the protagonist Kaleb would cook once his galley skills improve halfway through the book. Feels a bit like a dungeons and dragons role playing game that happens partially in fantasy outer space, or the best version of some crossover of David eddings belgariad / treasure planet fan fiction- though that comparison doesn't do the world building justice. It's original and as thought out as the world needs to be for a fun, romping good adventure story story like this. The villainous orcs might stay fairly unexamined in their villainy and the moral quandaries the protagonists face don't last longer than they need to for the page turning quest to continue until it reaches a twisty and interesting conclusion. Jordan Presley 5.0 out of 5 stars Unexpectedly awesome! Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2021If you're into fantasy and adventure and are sick of rereading The Wheel of Time, then pick up Kildash Book 1. The characters are all unique and engaging, the story pulls you right in with a terrible mystery at the outset, and the plot is constantly shifting in directions completely unexpected - this novel keeps you on your toes for sure. I just ordered the second book and am so excited to have discovered a new fantasy series. It's all the more impressive to know the author self-published this novel - super great read, hard to put the book down, and I'm eager to get to the second book in the series to find out what happens to our intrepid adventurers. Five stars for sure as this will be an easy book to pick up again and again. Eric Byrnes 5.0 out of 5 stars Better than advertised Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2021So, first of all, I'm an avid reader. I came across this book and had average thoughts. To my surprise, it turned out to be great. I couldn't put the book down. I really recommend it to fellow readers. *I will say it is a bit different but, in a fun and adventurous way. * I enjoyed it. Nancy Jo Laurence 5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting New Book Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2021This was an action-packed read! The small details and backstory for each character allowed me to truly visualize this new world. This book was loaned to me, and after finishing it, I purchased a replacement copy to return so that I could keep a book for myself. I hope the next book follows soon!
