A saga which revolves around the secrets of a large Norwegian family. The strength of its storytelling and its truly romantic energy make it a perfect example of an authentic page turner. * Livres Hebdo * This saga will delight fans of Succession and enchant readers fond of complex intrig ues The Scandinavians are still the kings of chills. * Elle * In literature as in espionage, everything is a matter of seduction . . . Enlightening and captivating * Liberation * A windswept, wave-tossed, altogether irresistible novel of literary suspense - part thriller, part romance, part wartime drama - that's fresh yet old-fashioned, as though The Da Vinci Code, The Shadow of the Wind and TV's Succession had been smoothly blended and poured over (fjord) ice. I truly didn't want it to end. -- A. J. Finn
