Jay Scully is one of Hollywood’s most accomplished acting teachers, casting directors and private coaches, with clients like (the late) Paul Walker (Fast & Furious), Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire), Xolo Maridueña (Blue Beetle), Lewis Pullman (Top Gun: Maverick), and many others. He has coached on-set for directors such as J.J. Abrams (Super 8), Judd Apatow (This Is 40), James Wan (Furious 7), and most recently Director X (Superfly) and Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim (Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie). He has cast over 50 feature films and television shows, and was a professor of Screen Acting at Chapman University in Orange, California, in addition to being the in-house Screen Acting teacher at South Coast Repertory Theater in Costa Mesa. He has conducted acting workshops across the country, at the college and high school levels. He co-created and directed the 2018 pilot and presentation Big & $ave, with John Brotherton (Fuller House) and Carly Craig (Swipe Right).
