Tour de France Records 2014 is the latest in Carlton Books' million-selling World Records series. Delving into the world of the Tour de France, the biggest and most glamorous of all cycling races, this volume highlights the great battles for the Yellow Jersey and the polka-dots of the King of the Mountains since the race began in 1903. There are also hundreds of stories and statistics on the legendary riders, famous teams and high mountains which have helped to make the Tour de France one of the most exciting and popular sports spectacles in the world. The stories, features, lists and table are bought to life by fantastic action photography. All fans of Le Grand Boucle (the great loop, because the Tour always encircles France - with a few stages in adjoining countries - in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction) will love Tour de France Records 2014, and feel confident about winning any argument about this epic sporting challenge after reading through it from cover to cover.
