Following Giorgi's death, Tamar was celebrated for her beauty and virtue, and the nobles quickly supported her ascension to the throne. As queen, Tamar demonstrated wisdom and a commitment to faith, initiating reforms to strengthen Orthodoxy in her kingdom. Her reign is marked by her ability to discern loyalty and deceit, and she sought to eradicate evil influences within her realm.
