Sheriff Bob Braudis has been the sheriff of Pitkin County, Colorado since 1986. He spent 8 years as an Aspen ski bum before economic realities hit and the custody of two pre-teen daughters forced him to seek steady employment as a deputy. Michael Cleverly is an Aspen area artist, who--though he tries to avoid confining definitions--prefers to think of himself as a pornographer. He has been writing a column for the Aspen Times Weekly since 2000. Cleverly has been married twice. He has two daughters, two ex-wives and a grandson named Oliver, and lives near a fortified compound in Woody Creek, Colorado.
This book is hilarious and heart-breaking and hard to put down. --William McKeen, author of OUTLAW JOURNALIST and HIGHWAY 61
