⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Very Informative Book! From the early Sumerians, Babylonians, and Egyptians to the Medieval witches and sorcerers and on to today, magic has been practiced and seen as both beneficial and dangerous. This book takes us through millennia to learn about the roles of witches in society and how their images have changed over the centuries. It's a fascinating study of the complex history of magic practitioners and how it has influenced civilizations. Witches have been both revered and condemned, seen as healers and protectors as well as people to be feared. I have learned a lot and will never think of witches as just curious characters at Halloween again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Fascinating Book! The imagery alone in this book is a 5. The author has done a tremendous of defining witchcraft and its history of going back to the 1400s to its current form and practices. I was really amazed hat ow some of the interrogation methods used in history are still used today. It is a very educational book about witchcraft and the different practices and bringing different results and healings.
