""Fear is the enemy, not cancer"" says best-selling author Sue Paulson, a two-time cancer thriver. ""The terror of a diagnosis can cause us and our loved ones to panic. ""If you get a cancer diagnosis, it's not just happening to you. It's happening to everyone whose lives you touch.""

Because no one should have to go through cancer alone, this book offers practical, step-by-step support and guidance to assist sufferers and their loved ones.

""In hindsight, there were many questions I didn't know to ask and help I needed that I couldn't articulate. Had I only known a bit about what was ahead, I would have been more prepared and less afraid.""

Sue's latest book adopts a holistic approach as she explores the mind-body-soul connection in the healing process. While the medical community focuses primarily on cancer's physical impact on the body, Sue encourages cancer sufferers to explore their own life and history to resolve whatever has led them to cancer. ""Cancer came for a reason,"" she maintains."" Cancer may be here as a tool for you to draw your last breath. Or it could be your wake-up call to propel you out of previous misery and suffering and into the life you've always dreamed of."" Sue insists that cancer is not a failure. ""We're not to blame. But we are responsible to ourselves and our bodies to discover what this formidable teacher called cancer wants us to know.

Whether you are a sufferer or a member of the support team, The Healing Call of Cancer is designed as a resource that's there for you every step of the way.
