Marty Mitchell was born and raised in the Catholic faith and grew up in a Navy family alternating between the Pacific and Atlantic coasts. He went to high school and college in Virginia where he received a degree in Finance before a thirty-year career in the capital markets. He is a practicing Catholic Christian today although his faith journey didn't take a straight path. After living for the next party in his twenties and thirties, he began wondering what his purpose was in this life, and he was drawn to contemplate and learn about the body of Christ and his role in it.Although he had stopped practicing his faith, he prayed regularly and always considered himself a Catholic, even after he married a Methodist woman in his early thirties and began going to her church to maintain consistency for her and her nine year-old son.It is what he discovered on this spiritual journey about the Trinity and the role all Christians have in Christ's body that Marty shares in his first book, The Capillaries of Christ. He is an author, speaker, and personal coach who has a passion for helping others to live their Best Blessed Life and to play their unique part in the body of Christ. For more information, resources, and to contact Marty, visit his website at martymitchell.me .
