"Jay Adams is the brilliant founder of the modern biblical counseling movement. There is literally no author, professor, leader, or practitioner of biblical counseling currently serving that does not stand in the debt of Jay Adams. His entire ministry and corpus of work is worthy of careful study. I am so glad to learn that his essays and lectures, many of which have not been accessible for many years, are now being published anew.
