Reviews for Tattered & Torn: A Quilting Cozy

I am very late to the party with these superb cozy mysteries. Being an avid sewist and craft blogger Tattered & Torn was a real treat to read.  Sarah Miller discovers a rare quilt find in a thrift shop, she decides to try and restore it as it is a little tattered..and torn. Soon she discovers that there is more to the history of the quilt, and what happens next is an absolute delight. I loved following her detective work in order to discover the origins of the very special quilt. It turns out to be quite a sad and emotive find. With murder, a little bit of chaos and a wedding this is a fun read too. Filled with amazing characters.. not all good and kind.. this is an easy read. The plot is simple, but fascinating and what I really loved was the history of the quilt that was in depth and really interesting. There is a pattern project at the end, complete with template and instructions. This is the 9th instalment and I am looking forward to catching up with this fabulous series. -- Tracy Shephard * Postcard Reviews *
