Jimmy Doherty is an entomologist, a farmer, a conservationist and a TV presenter. He is also an author: his first book, On the Farm, was published in 2004, followed by a cookbook called A Taste of the Country in 2006 and a tie-in book to a BBC series called A Farmer's Life for Me in 2011. Jimmy has been seen on our TV screens ever since, across a number of programmes. He is a regular presenter on Food Unwrapped as well as Jamie and Jimmy's Friday Night Feast and, in 2020, he shared his life-long passion for insects in Jimmy's Big Bee Rescue on Channel 4, aiming to inspire protection of the nation's bee population.
