CHRISTIAN JENNINGS is a British author and foreign correspondent who has written ten works of non-fiction that have been published in several languages. He was based in Rwanda, Bosnia, Kosovo, Burundi, Kenya and Switzerland and spent fifteen years reporting on international current affairs, including complex war crimes investigations, for a range of publications including The Economist, Wired, The Guardian and The Scotsman. He now works between the UK and Italy and writes books about modern European history during and after the Second World War. His previous book for The History Press, Anatomy of a Massacre: How the SS Got Away with War Crimes in Italy, was praised as 'fascinating and horrifying' by The Times of Israel.
