Lars Peterson, MD, PhD, is Professor Emeritus of Orthopedics at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, former Clinical Director of the Gothenburg Medical Center and founding member and President of the International Cartilage Repair Society (ICRS). He is a former Chairman of the Swedish Society for Sports Medicine and has been a member of FIFA’s Medical Committee for more than 40 years and is one of the founding fathers of FIFA Medical Assessment and Research Center. Per A.F.H. Renström, MD, PhD, is Professor Emeritus of Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, and was previously Professor of Sports Medicine at the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vermont, USA. He is a former President of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), and a former Vice President of the International Sports Medicine Federation (FIMS). He has been a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Medical Commission for 25 years and a member of the Medical Committee of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Scott Lynch, MD, is Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA. He is the Chief of the Division of Sports Medicine and the Practice Site Medical Director for the Adult Bone and Joint Institute.
