Karupppasamy Subburaj, PhD, is an Associate Professor at Aarhus University's Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering in Denmark. He leads the interdisciplinary Medical Engineering and Design (MED) laboratory, focusing on designing medical devices and developing image analysis methods and computing tools for musculoskeletal disorders. He is a Guest Editor for various journals and actively participates in advancing the field of metrology in materials and advanced manufacturing. Saša Ćuković, PhD, is a group leader at the Institute for Biomechanics at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. His research interests include CAD/CAM systems, reverse engineering, non-invasive 3D reconstruction and modeling, computational biomechanics, augmented reality, and computer vision. With experience as a postdoctoral fellow and grant holder at renowned institutions in Austria and Germany, Ćuković has published four books and over 90 papers. Dassault Systems also recognizes him as a CATIA Champion for his dedication to promoting and using the PLM System CATIA. Additionally, he is a scientific member of the Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, contributing to the advancement of information technology. Kamalpreet Sandhu is an Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University in India, specializing in product and industrial design. His research focuses on designing and developing footwear products and injury prevention in podiatric medicine. Sandhu has conducted various projects and published papers in the field, including a publication on the effect of shod walking on plantar pressure. He is the editor of several books on sustainability, revolutions in product design for healthcare, food printing, and 3D printing in podiatric medicine. Additionally, Sandhu serves as an Editorial Review board member for international journals and a review editor for Frontiers in Manufacturing Technology. Gerrit Meixner, PhD, is a Research Professor for Human-Computer Interaction at Heilbronn University in Germany. He is also the managing director of the Usability and Interaction Technology Laboratory (UniTYLab). Furthermore, he is an Affiliated Professor for Human-Computer Interaction at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at KTH Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm and an Associate Professor in the Medical Faculty of Heidelberg at Heidelberg University. Prof. Meixner has a solid academic background, with a diploma and master's degree in computer science and a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has published over 140 articles in conferences, journals, and books, focusing on usability engineering and innovative interaction technologies like augmented and virtual reality. In addition, Prof. Meixner holds various leadership roles in research clusters and technical committees, emphasizing his commitment to advancing human-computer interaction. He is also a member of editorial boards for reputable healthcare informatics and information technology journals. Radu Emanuil Petruse, PhD, is a lecturer at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu in Romania. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering focusing on industrial augmented reality applications. He has extensive experience in research projects and industrial collaborations, including coordinating projects for Continental Automotive Systems. Petruse is also a certified trainer for Siemens and has multiple certifications from Dassault Systems. As a lecturer at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu in Romania, he has coordinated international practice seminars and contributed to the Digital Factory project. With research interests in cyber-physical systems, additive manufacturing, augmented reality, and bioengineering, Petrus has published 37 research articles and actively contributes to the engineering field.
