The 21st century has ushered in a new era of warfare that transcends traditional battlegrounds of bullets and bombs and instead seeps into the very fabric of societies. As the lines between war and peace blur, nations engage in hybrid warfare employing economic, cyber, and psychological strategies to undermine their adversaries from within. In this context, a chilling reality has emerged: the opioid crisis devastating the United States may not be a mere consequence of the global drug trade, but a calculated assault orchestrated by foreign powers. At the heart of this silent war is China, with its potent weapon fentanyl.
