Lidia Rodríguez began her musical journey surrounded by the sounds of Christmas carols, the melodies of her parents, and the birds in her hometown. She went on to complete her pre-university and university studies in singing at the Universidad de Costa Rica in San José, setting the foundation for a remarkable career in classical music.Lidia has graced international stages with her performances. She was a soloist in Mozart's Requiem at the Rubén Darío Theater in Nicaragua and starred in the opera La Cambiale di Matrimonio in Costa Rica. In Mexico, she captivated audiences as Hansel in Humperdinck's Hansel und Gretel at the 2019 San Luis Potosí Opera Festival. Her talent has taken her to chamber music festivals across Norway (2015), London (2017), and Italy (2018). Lidia also furthered her vocal and linguistic studies in Munich, Germany, from 2019 to 2020.As a dedicated teacher and vocal coach, Lidia has led masterclasses and performed at renowned events such as Festinart San José 2022 and the Knish International Music Festival 2023 in Hidalgo, Mexico. Specializing in classical chamber music, oratorio, and art song recitals, she is also actively involved in 'Artistic Residence Singing Soul, ' which includes concerts and workshops that use music and singing as vehicles to promote environmental conservation and peace. Additionally, Lidia offers vocal and language coaching to students worldwide. Yvette Farkas is the owner of Singing Soul Books, a boutique publishing company dedicated to empowering authors to self-publish their books with ease and joy. Yvette is an accomplished author herself, having written influential works on health and art, as well as a unique series of children's books that seamlessly integrate top coaching strategies into captivating stories, such as the Ethan and the Seven Chakras series. Her books have been featured in prominent national media outlets, including CBC Radio and The Globe and Mail, sold at the renowned Art Gallery of Ontario, and are part of the permanent collection at the National Library of Canada. Yvette takes great pleasure in helping other authors publish their work and sharing in the excitement of seeing their books reach readers around the world.
