Paola Giovetti was born in Florence, Italy, very close to the Institute of Psychosynthesis. She has lived in Modena for many years. She graduated in literature from the University of Bologna. A journalist and writer specializing in psychological, literary, spiritual and esoteric themes, she is the author of numerous essays and biographies including those of Victor Frankl, Maria Montessori, Rudolf Steiner, Madame Blavatsky, and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. She is the Manager the magazine Luce e Ombra, the oldest and most prestigious Italian magazine dedicated to the paranormal, and is president of the Bozzano De Boni esoteric library in Bologna.
