If you have ever wondered:
How do I live a life of impact in challenging times? How does having joy relate to piloting a ship through a harbor? Why is obedience to God important in life? How does a road trip on the mountains of Montana relate to reconciliation? How can I become more passionate about life and following God in it? How do events in Jesus' time relate to current events? What is sin's impact on me? How does a normal everyday guy take the Bible and relate it to life? Do I get to request my favorite foods in heaven? (Just kidding, I don't answer this one.)

Then this book is for you!

Study the first six chapters of the Gospel of John with me, as I relate it to life with personal analogies, successes, and struggles. Using cross references and parallel verses, you will discover how life-applicable this old book is.

Joe Anderson is an Idaho, USA resident who values the Word of God. He has been married to his amazing wife, Cherish, for 23 years. As they raise their five children he realizes that his only hope in raising them in righteousness amidst a lost world-is to point them to Jesus. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and shooting clays, as well as catering some meals for tailgates and other events. He grew up with parents who became Christians and gave up high position and fortune to serve God at the San Jose Rescue Mission (now City Team Ministries). Watching their sacrifice for others propels him in his faith to this day. He currently attends Rockharbor Church in Meridian, Idaho and serves in the Prayer and Outreach ministries and as a community group leader. He started writing devotionals as encouraged by a couple of friends and enjoys the accountability and blessings they bring.
