Reviews for Qualitative Pathways for Publication: A Guidebook for Scientists

"Navigating qualitative pathways is not an easy task. This book offers a very comprehensive guide to diverse qualitative pathways from theories, episto/ontologies, lexicon, methods, quality and ethics discussion to the nuts and bolts of inquiry practice. Read this welcoming guide to help you to travel different qualitative paths and make informed decisions when travelling. --Mirka Koro, professor, Mary Lou Fulton Teacher's College, Arizona State University Structure provides a pathway for coherence,"" from Isaac's Qualitative Pathways for Publication defines the text. Experienced and novice researchers hoping to avoid a false sense of rigor, a ""fast food"" qualitative approach, are given tools, referencing seminal authors in the field, to conduct sound qualitative research worthy of publication. Looking to bridge the quant/qual divide, Isaac identified a need and filled it brilliantly! --Randy Hetherington, EdD, associate professor, School of Education, University of Portland"
