Ankurkumar Pramodbhai Desai is an assistant professor in Electrical Engineering at GIDC Degree Engineering College, Navsari, Gujarat, India. With 14 years of academic experience, he earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, India, in 2024. He completed his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Shantilal Shah Engineering College, Bhavnagar, in 2013, and his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology, Surat, in 2008. He has made significant contributions to the field through numerous publications in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and conferences. His research focuses on multiphase induction motor drives for high-power applications, power system protection, microprocessors, microcontrollers, and control systems. Paresh Kumar Nayak is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad. With a distinguished career in academia and industry, he specializes in the protection, control, and monitoring of power transmission and distribution networks, including FACTS devices and renewable energy integration. Dr. Nayak holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, where his research focused on innovative algorithms for distance relays in power networks. He also completed an MSc in High Voltage Engineering from IISc Bangalore and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from VSSUT Burla. Before joining IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, Dr. Nayak served as an Assistant Professor at NIT Patna and KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, and worked in the industry as a Transformer Design Engineer. His academic contributions include guiding several Ph.D. scholars and M.Tech students, developing new lab setups, and preparing new syllabi. Dr. Nayak has delivered numerous invited lectures and has been actively involved in professional services as a reviewer for several international journals and conferences.
