Vinayak R. Malik is working as Associate Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at KLS Gogte institute of Technology. He holds a Doctorate degree in Material Science from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. His research areas include Friction Stir Welding and Processing, Microwave Sintering, Materials technology, Additive Manufacturing and 3D printing. He has published numerous research papers in reputed journals along with 2 grants and 4 patents to his credit. His research contributions in close association with industry partner Enerzi Microwave Systems Pvt. Ltd. have yielded metallurgical solutions to Industrial problems. Vivek Tiwary is working as Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at KLS Gogte institute of Technology. He holds a Master’s degree in Material Science & Metallurgy from National Institute of Technology, Surathkal. His research areas include Materials technology, Additive Manufacturing, Welding/joining of 3D printed parts and Heat treatment of steels. His PhD title is “Experimental Investigations of Joining as Post-Processing Techniques to Circumvent the Bed Size Limitation of FDM-3D Printers” earned from VTU. He has published fifteen research papers in reputed SCI journals. He has obtained and executed grants worth Rs. 55 lakhs from KCTU and KSCST. Recently his final year UG project has also bagged the reputed IMTEX and KSCST awards. His most recent ""IOT based 3D printing"" event was one of several workshops and training programmes he has held for students and industry personnel. He has been actively offering consultancy services to the local MSME's industries in the fields of 3D printing and 3D scanning. Arunkumar P. is an Associate Professor at the KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi. He was previously the institute’s chief of examiner (COE), and he is currently the Dean of academics. His experience in the field of academics and industry extends over a period of 18 years. His research areas include CAD/CAM, Process Planning and Additive Manufacturing. He has 30 international journal and conference publications to his credit along with two research grants. He has conducted several workshops/FDP for MSME's industries in the fields of 3D printing and 3D scanning. He has received invitations to serve as a resource on reverse engineering and 3D printing from numerous organisations and businesses.
