Stephen Glass was born in Hungary to Jewish parents, and like his brother, with whom he shared a studio in London, he made a career as a photographer. In the 1940s and '50s, he specialised in photographing nudes for such magazines as Health and Efficiency and The Naturist. The models, June Palmer and Pamela Green both posed for him, and he frequently used Spielplatz nudist camp in Bricket Wood as a location. Colin Gordon works in the games industry as a character designer and animator, but also works freelance, creating posters, logo design, illustration, and album covers. His bold, simplified and stylish designs are influenced by early twentieth-century European posters artists such as Begarstaffs, Ludwig Hohlwein, Adolfo Hohenstein and René Gruau as well as Hollywood B-movies posters and gig posters. Over the years Colin Gordon has done a lot of work for the resurgent Burlesque scene.
