As a woman who has suffered from chronic abdominal pain for several years, I am very happy to have found Professor Whiteley's book Pelvic congestion syndrome. I have been told by numerous Dr's over the years, at best, there is something wrong with you, but I don't know what. To, at worst, you have varicose veins in your pelvic but it is completely normal and is not the cause of your pain. Passing by many, there is nothing wrong with you.... Thanks to Professor Whiteley and his very well written book, I now know that I am not completely mad. This book explains in a very easy to understand way the complicated issue that is Pelvic congestion syndrome. I thank him for writing this book, I thank him for returning me my sanity and I thank him for giving me hope that one day I may be cured. A must read for anyone who has or suspects they have pelvic congestion syndrome BEFORE they embark on the journey to getting fixed Sue Webb
