Parallax is an international, peer-reviewed journal that aims towards a critical engagement with the production of culture and knowledge. The journal explores a wide range of cultural practices, reconfiguring the production and
understanding of culture as well as the relation between theory and practice itself. This text brings together scholars
from a number of different theoretical backgrounds to consider the ethical and political processes involved in witnessing, and the possible limits of theory in some situations. Contributors include J.M. Bernstein, Kelly Oliver, Griselda Pollock, Laurence Rickels, Avital Ronell and Hayden White.
