Adventure travel writer Chris Scott discovered packrafts in 2009 and he soon realised these lightweight, robust and portable boats were game changers for exploring the wilderness on land and water. His adventures started in the glens and lochs of the Scottish Highlands before heading for the wild rivers of France’s Massif Central, Utah’s Canyonlands, Iceland, Turkey’s Lycian coast and New Zealand as well as packrafting London’s 200-year-old Regent’s Canal.
Interesting and informative. Chris Scott's very careful descriptions and explanations of the gadgetry did convince me that this system would work if one wanted to tramp the moorland as well as explore freshwater lakes and rivers. (Yachting Monthly)
