In his early twenties, driven by a desire for inner peace, Felipe Oliveira found himself in a 4th Way school in the Gurdjieff-Ouspensky tradition. This experience gave him valuable insights into the human psyche. A turning point came when a book by John Wheeler sparked a self-inquiry into ""the truth of I,"" leading to a Revelation of our True Nature of Consciousness. Yet, soon after the so-called Awakening, something still felt wrong. The suffering returned. Felipe then went on a journey, interacting with Non-Duality teachers like John Wheeler, Bob Adamson, Gangaji, Wayne Liquorman, Tony Parsons, Adyashanti, and Francis Lucille. During this time, he published a book of poems titled ""Only You,"" about seeking and his spiritual experiences. At some point, he wondered: ""Why and how does the ego create so much unnecessary psychological suffering? This led him to explore psychological tools to specifically unravel the complexities of the ego. Eventually, the sense of separation dissolved, and the psychological suffering and seeking ceased. As Nisargadatta Maharaj once said, ""The mind must be known."" For Felipe, this thorough investigation proved to be the key out of his spiritual quandary. Felipe now shares what he has learned and unlearned in the winding as well as the direct paths, shedding light on mental and emotional obstacles and hinting at the ever-present peace that lies beyond them.
