When she was in the military, Heather Sharp's call sign was 'Notso', get it? Not So Sharp.Maybe a more appropriate callsign would have been 'Hammerhead' because she takes hard-headed to a whole new level. Her family is filled with rodeo champions, but 'Horse Trainer' or 'Rodeo Star' was not on the list during career day at high school, so she put a checkmark in the box for 'Flight Attendant'. Thankfully, a teacher encouraged her to become a pilot. She flew the T38, C130, Boeing 747 and Airbus 320.Two freak accidents (not related to airplanes or horses) resulted in two brain injuries and more than seven years off. It is a miracle that she survived and is as witty and funny as ever. She got back to flying both times but had to medically retire early after a 25-year career with the airlines. She is now a motivational speaker about her remarkable journey and how critical faith and attitude were to her recovery.Find her on the web at www.heathersharp.com or Facebook at BooksbyHeatherSharp
