Jana is an art director and illustrator based on the rainy west coast of Canada. For 15 years she has worked developing visual programs and entertainment for children. Her work has appeared in books, magazines, science centres, greeting cards, maps, puzzles, video games and toys. Inspired by the creatures and environment of the local rainforests and the ocean, Jana spends her spare time wandering the beaches, making maps and sipping obnoxiously strong coffee. Jana's studio is nestled on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia (Canada) where she lives with her husband, two kids and her massive long-haired black cat, Nori.
