Emma Chinnery is a British children's author and illustrator. Emma worked for several years as a graphic artist before her passion for children's books led her to study on the MA Children's Book Illustration course at the Cambridge School of Art. When she's not drawing or writing, you'll find her on a bike, cycling the country lanes of Suffolk.
""This thought-provoking picture book tackles themes of homelessness, empathy and character perspective. With sensitive and evocative artwork, My Friend Andy is both a positive story to read with infants and an excellent prompt for discussions about how everyone's life is different with KS1 and KS2 pupils."" -- School Reading List * Kid's Book Review: My Friend Andy * A picture book about people and the importance of a community . . . With lovely, lively illustrations this story about a search for a missing dog also opens up a conversation about homelessness. -- Books Up North
