Kate Walker was born in 1950 in Newcastle, Australia. She has been writing since 1977 and has published over a dozen books for children. Her works have been highly acclaimed in Australia and overseas, with her novel for young adults Peter awarded the American Library Association Award, Australian Children's Book of the Year and the Children's Book Council Honour Book (Highly Commended). She was awarded the Eselsohr Award (Germany) for Changes and Other Stories, and was shortlisted for the Australian Children's Book of the Year for Our Excursion. Stig Wemyss is Australia’s most loved audiobook narrator for children and young adults. He has lent his voice to the work of some of Australia’s most accomplished authors, including Andy Griffiths, Paul Jennings, Tim Winton, Marcus Zusak, Margaret Clarke and, most recently, Andrew Daddo. For the last three years he has been the recipient of the ABIA audiobook of the year award, including for the Trent Dalton's widely acclaimed debut novel Boy Swallows Universe. Stig has also written his own successful audiobook series entitled, The Tripp Diaries, which he narrates himself. His success and popularity have led him to develop a one-man comedy show for kids, Stig Live @ The Library, which he has performed in schools and libraries around Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

The answer is: surprisingly well. Stig Wemyss has narrated quite a few of Bolinda's audiobooks for children and has a fantastic character voice repertoire. There are only two voices – that of Mitch and Sue – and Stig manages to differentiate between the two characters remarkably well, one could almost swear that it was a female reading the part. He also manages to portray the minor characters well ... Mitch 2 Sue is a great story on the issue of bullying and social responsibility of the individual. -- Fiction Focus
