Ursula Clare Franklin is a wildlife photographer living in Somerset. Originally from Yorkshire, she developed a keen interest in photography as a child and has enjoyed combining this with her love of nature ever since. Ursula’s husband was a great supporter of her photography and her love of penguins, always encouraging her to do something with her images. Following his death in 2012, she embarked on Mission Penguin and began to share and exhibit her photos more widely.
Mission Penguin captures the joy that Franklin experiences as a wildlife photographer, while highlighting the ongoing challenges – and successes – facing different penguin colonies across the Southern Hemisphere. * Geographical magazine *
